After some fun and other off topic chatter yesterday I want to refocus on ADXA VP Pat W5VY's original post yesterday about VK/ZL/ZL7 and 6 meters. This is historically the time of year we have propagation to that region of the world on 50 MHz. Pat was paying attention, watching the bands and nabbed a nice new DXCC country, ZL7, on 6 meters. I was not paying attention (my football addiction distracted me!) and missed what would have been a new one for me on that band.

In this morning's "The Daily DX" Bernie, W3UR talked about this and Pat's QSN report. To emphasize an additional comment from Pat that Bernie published this morning "point toward VK/ZL starting around 2300 and see what happens".

So, PAY ATTENTION. I have seen these be one day happenings but I have also seen them be recurring happenings.

Get in there and work 'em!!!!
