Congrats on 222 WAS.You are in a small club.  I had a chat with Marshall, K5QE, last night on 144.2 and he told me he had solved his 222 EME issues and worked NH6Y for #49.  He mentioned NH6Y was having issues with a combiner and he worked him on a single yagi. He says James, K7KQA, will be going back to OR for him.
Had a cool experience on 432 yesterday...there was great tropo from TX to Florida along the Gulf Coast. I was  on the Northern edge of the blob. I had worked XE3X for a new grid (EL06) and worked Homero, XE2KK on SSB. Rafa, XE2OR, was banging away on FT8 and someone asked if he had 432. He said he could get on with a vertical and 35W. I worked him on FT8 then he worked Drew, KO4MA. Drew asked if his vertical did 1296! I accused Drew of being a real optimist!

Hope y'all have a Happy New Year and have lots of radio fun in 2022.

Look on the bright side Pat, there are only two kinds of DX'ers:

1. Those who work 'em

2. Those who just watch others work 'em!

Congrats on "working 'em!"

p.s. I completed my 222 MHz WAS this morning by working NH6Y in Hawaii for state #50

Well Rick, I feel the same way! I know you True DXers did it all with Spark and AM.....but you had an abundance of F2 prop on 6M. I have worked ZL1RS on 6M CW and probably 30 or so more. There were a couple of times last night when prop was good enough to support CW....but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone on CW...I've tried.

So, I guess I need an asterisk next to my 6M DXCC  :(

Subject: [ADXA] 6M for ZL and ZL7

I lucked out and managed to work ZL7DX on 6M FT8 last night.  There were also a half dozen or so ZLs in the mix.  The opening started for me about 23:30UTC and lasted over two hours.  Prop would come and go throughout the session.  Folks in North Texas were about a half-hour in front of me on the opening.  Al, W5LUA and Scott, AA5AM, worked ZL7DX early on in the opening.  I decoded him a couple of times then he faded....thought it was over for the night. Then almost two hours later he popped back in for 15 minutes.  So point toward VK/ZL starting around 2300 and see what happens this evening.
