Steve, W5KI, has provided updated DXCC Standings info. He has been trying to wrangle his QSLs and LOTW Credits to get everything up to current status.  He thinks he’s getting close to capturing everything.  Steve has completed DXCC on 160M, 30M, 17M and 6M which when added to 5Band DXCC gives him 9 Band DXCC now!  Steve is pounding away on 12M trying to catch the last seven he needs there for DXCC.  His Desoto Challenge total is over 1400 hundred now…getting close to the 1500 medallion.  For those of you chasing FFMA Steve is a 487 or 488 grids confirmed.  He has found a spot on the side of his hill to place a 6M yagi that will have a decent take off toward EL84 down by the Florida Keys.  If you want to rent a boat and haul a 6M rig out to EL84 he will probably help with the gas money!

It was great to see everyone at the meeting in Russellville.  Thanks to Russellville locals who set up the meting spot.  It worked out well.  I was about 20 minutes enroute from Hot Springs when my “Engine Oil Level” warning light came on. I did a 180 and headed back home to switch vehicles. Turns out it was a bad sensor…not a bad oil pump or leak.

A comment on Joel’s note on lack of chatter on the reflector.  I think there is a lot of built up demand for family get togethers. I’ve been working hard on my “honey do” list for a couple of weeks.  Lots of family showing up here over the next couple of weeks.  But, just take a break and work some DX!
