Ken, K5ALQ, has provided updated DXCC standings information. Ken typically submits one DXCC application per year and provides his total after his application has been processed. Ken says it was a slow year for new DX for him. Lots of distractions and other things to deal with. He added almost 50 band counters to his Challenge total.
He has spent time refurbishing his antennas and has new boom to mast hardware on his HF yagi. The previous connection got loose and the antenna freewheeled for a while and chewed up the feedline. Ken has it pinned to the mast now and has 7/8” Heliax to his HF yagi and ½” Heliax to his other HF antennas. He knows he’ll have minimal loss and hopes the Heliax will be lower maintenance.
Ken had a minor problem with his TenTec Titan-425 and found a replacement and is back to QRO power. His used Titan is for sale on QTH.com. Ken is looking forward to improved band conditions and working some new ones. Sounds like you are ready for Cycle 25 Ken.
