Rory.
I almost died on the Comoros in 1976 when I was the first op from there as D6A.. Time flies. I had 104 temp for 4 days, an unknown illness, completely unable to get out of bed and not eating. Then got permission from the Pres to operate and crawled out of bed, drank Cokes and within 6 hours was operating at the home of the Airport Manager who was a ham but never allowed to operate, even after I left. Went back as D68AF in 1978 and stayed with the PTT Director, D68AD. Worked 2 NA stations on 3.8mc one night, one was K5UR Rick.. Fun stuff. Rick might remember! 😊
I find it sorta strange that D60AD was issued to the present operation.. Next thing you know a D60AF call will be issued and I will likely get some crazy D68AF QSL card requests.. HI (after 43 years)
Happy DXing during the increase prop of our Cycle 25!

If anyone need Comoros Island D60AD has been spotted "band hopping" this morning. Nothing workable from here yet.
