I knew that you were several db better on RX than I was. I hope y'all were able to get in his log. I only got one decode at a -21 or 23, and so knew I didn't have a shot. I just became a SWL and let everyone else do their thing. I'm not much into blind calling since all it does is cause issues and slow down qso rates.

We are craighead electric here and have the same ole noise issue from the NE that we had for a few years now. It may not be power lines, but may be from something in a house up the way.

Good DX Jussie. Mike and I will probably see you tonight on 160.

He was strong here for a bit on 80m (best -15) but unfortunately they
keep using the standard FT8 frequencies and there were many stations on
top of him. I called but did not at least hear that he replied. He did
come back to EJ - hopefully he completed the contact.

The same evening I was on 160m. And then suddenly RI1FJZ came up calling
CQ. Called him and he got right back, QSO completed with -18 / -18
exchange. No RX on my inv-L, he could only be heard on the NE BOG. All
this lasted 5 minutes. It may be the time to play lottery?

I have currently bad power line noise on 160m and some on 80m. I am
about to file RFI complaint to Craighead Electric. This is killing my RX :-(

Yes, 160m is starting to wake up! So, the summer must be over! I got a
couple of new band counters there and worked some buddies back in OH
land. I still have some issues with the inv-L and I cannot run full
power into it at the moment.
