[ADXA] Ham radio garage sale in Russellville

HAM RADIO ESTATE GARAGE SALE:

The family of Jim Alexander K0HIP and Margaret Alexander KC5MCS(sk) will be
selling their collection of ham radio equipment at a garage sale in
Russellville, Arkansas on September 25th and 26th from 8am to 1pm each day.
The sale will be at the family QTH at 1511 North Jackson Street,
Russellville, AR. I’ll attach pictures of Jim’s multi decade collections of
ham radio gear, including rigs from Drake, Kenwood, Johnson including an
antenna tuner, linear amplifier, B Line a Vibroplex Bug, and Lionel J-38
straight key plus other items far to numerous to list. Jim made his living
as a broadcast engineer for many years, and this collection includes a
considerable amount of spare parts for ham radio and broadcast gear, along
with test equipment.

I can testify that the equipment shown in the operating position works. All
of K0HIP’s DXCC contacts and a considerable number of mine were made at
this operating position. Starting in 1985 I was a frequent guest of the
Alexander family and we both enjoyed chasing CW dx. I can not tell you that
all of the gear is fully functional. Jim was active on the bands up until a
year or so ago, before his health forced a move to a care facility. All
gear in this sale is sold with no guarantee, implied or otherwise.
