Jay, I'm with you on the regular ft8 frequency not being the best place to be. I suppose I'll be stalking them somewhere else tonight. It would be amazing to have an 80 meter or 160 meter opening. We'll see. 


Congrats on the good DX! It is always fun to see ADXA represent in the pileups.

I wish they wouldn't have gone to the regular FT8 watering hole, but I will take it.  They were down the band a few days ago and that were I wished they had stayed.  Less QRM on top of them.  I was on talking to a friend and saw them around 11 pm.  They gave me a ridiculous signal to noise report compared to theirs.  They were just above the noise on the WSJT-X waterfall my report to them was -19.  Then came the QRM right on top of them.  Some were using Fox/Hound mode which cause others to call them right on top of the FJL frequency because they didn't have the "Hold TX" turned on.  


That what makes it fun, you just never know if one can get through. 


Saw a ton of our ADXA folks there as well and they were chasing a ton of EU DX at the same time.  Nice to see for sure!  73 de w5jay/jay..

I guess many of you know that one day last week was national dawg day. I want to wish all the ADXA dawgs a belated happy day. You know who you are! 




I saw a few ADXA dawgs beating on the pileup to FJL on 40 last night. It appeared that they did do quite well. I struggled hearing FJL, but was finally able to make a QSO. I found my buddy Sid K3SX on, listening for them also. He had no propogation to them from his QTH in MD. I wiatched the signals while I chatted with him and FJL seemed to have peaked from about midnight to 1 am. The signals may have not actually been better, but their was less QRM, except for the occaisional station setting up and calling right on top of them. 






Sure thankful to make a QSO. and congratulations to others that have done so.
