ADXA gang I am reposting this for San.  There is a problem between his ISP and club list.  Thanks and 73 de jay..

I went to Juan Fernandez Island as K5QHS/CE0 in 1973 and had a fun time. It is the same island as the recent 3G0Z operation. I had rented a two person small plane and we landed on the narrow and short grass strip and almost went off the landing area and could have fell to the ocean 250 feet below us. Then had to walk down in a circular fashion to the small village below where I stayed and operated in one small room. Carrying heavy stuff down to the operation area was a chore.  Anyway, a great memory and hope our ADXA members can work the 3G0Z for a new band or mode etc...
