Tuesday night I was monitoring 80m, then had put out a couple of CQs. OE8DDX
came back to me and we had a solid QSO. I needed Austria for a new band
counter. 

 

What made it fun was Luca (OE8DDX) is Austria's youngest ham at age 11. He's
now 16 and loves QSL cards. See his QRZ page photo :-). He's a grid and
county chaser; and I received an email from him yesterday morning requesting
a card. We had a couple of email exchanges. He's a wonderful young man. Look
for him on the air.

 

Card is on its way to him as of this morning.
