Randy,
YOU ARE ABOUT TO CROSS A SIGNIFICANT LEVEL ON CHALLENGE!!!!!!
The DXCC Challenge recognizes achievement in 500 level increments beginning at 1,000. If you don’t already have a DXCC Challenge plaque, get one and then once you cross a 500 boundary you can get a medallion to place on the plaque indicating your achievement, so you are about to cross the 1,500 level and that is OUTSTANDING!!! Your next goal will, obviously, be the 2,000 level.

Congratulations to EJ for breaking 3000 on the Challenge. I finally broke down and looked at LOTW to see how many Challenge points I had. I found this "

I was a bit broken hearted seeing the impossible gap between his Challenge points and mine. However upon thinking about this a different way, I feel much better. It appears that I am only "3db down" from EJ in Challenge points. In other bad news, I have now realized that when I am 3db down in a pileup, it is a monumental task to overcome.
I have been trying to gain that extra 3db by anymeans necessary. I am in the process of making Karen, and Jethrine (both 3 pints) a big sister. I am thinking that I will name her Bertha and I am hoping that she will be 12 pints plus. Some parts have arrived, but Fedex is messing me around on parts that have come internationally. After having war with them on Thursday, they now say my package will be delivered Monday, but I now cannot see the tracking on this. This is not helping with my DXing or my attitude in general and my opinion of Fedex specifically, not that my opinion matters to them.
The DX pills are all gone. This is also the last day for the engineers to be here. I may be a bit optimistic, but I really don't expect my DXing to suffer a tremendous amount.
Still looking for XX9W anywhere. That area of the world is tough on a omni-directional wire. I also found I could use Palau on every band but 40.
Everyone have a great day!
