[ADXA] Message From DXAC - Delta

The DX Advisory Committee (DXAC) is discussing the current DXCC Honor 
Roll threshold, which is currently 331 of the 340 DXCC entities.  The 
possibility of lowering this threshold has been raised.

Several ideas were presented.  One idea was to establish the threshold 
using a percentage somewhat lower than the current level of 
approximately 97.4% of the DXCC list.  Other suggestions included 
setting a fixed number lower than the current requirement.  For example, 
300 entities or some other value that might better reflect the current 
DXCC environment.

I would like to solicit input from your members who are active in 
DXing.  We would appreciate hearing your thoughts on the following:

1.  Should the DXCC Honor Roll threshold be changed?

2.  If so, what threshold would you recommend, and why?

The DXAC meets again on April 16th when this topic will be discussed 
further.  I would appreciate receiving any comments PRIOR TO THAT DATE 
so they can be considered.  If a member wants to provide input, send an

at this time.
