[ADXA] Tower Failure

Peter Dalton’s W6KW.
US Tower HDX 589 with 40 meter yagi.
I have the same model of tower which is overloaded. My tower like his is an older tower pre lattice bracing, heavier.  It still didn’t survive a straight line wind gust. And why mine we crank down before storms, takes 8 minutes for the us tower, 25 seconds for the other…[image0.jpeg]
