[ADXA] Yesterday's ADXA meeting

Hi ADXA folks,
I want to thank everyone that showed up for the ADXA meeting yesterday!  I know the weather sucked and I wasn't expecting much of a turn out because of that.  However, I counted right around 40 in the seats and only a few had to leave before the sign-up sheet got to them.  Several members had to tend to their hamfest tables during parts of the ADXA meeting.

I want to thank ARRL Delta director Dave Norris K5UZ for providing input from what is happening with the ARRL DXCC, DAC and CAC teams.  Ditto for Stan Stockton K5GO on the CAC!

Also want to congratulate Dennis Schaefer W5RZ for becoming the latest ADXA Honorary Life member.  Dennis has touch generations of ham radio operators within our state.  He was voted in unanimously.  I can't think of a more deserving member within the ADXA!  Thank you Dennis for all you have done for us over the years!  Thanks to Joel Harrison, for that nomination.

Last, I want to thank John WB5BHS and George WB5JJJ for the Ham Clock forum (plus extras) we had during yesterday's meeting!

I know I am rough around the gills as your new ADXA president, but I will get better in time!  I sure enjoyed seeing and talking with everyone yesterday!  Glad everyone made it home A-OK.  We missed those that could not make it!
