So happy to see many ADXA members getting a new band or overall new one. That's one advantage of the FT modes and not using SSB, CW or RTTY. LOL
Wish I had a rig and good antenna system to get Bouvet Island on an additional band or two using CW or SSB. IIWII
Don't think I could stay up late or get up early like in the past 60 years chasing DX starting in late 1957.
73 and "go get 'em"!! 👍😊

Subject: Bouvet Island comment

One of the most difficult places I ever worked and to follow VERY closely where they are, when they will set up and when they leave (IF no problems as in the past). One time they were supposed to be on Bouvet for a week and only operated a couple of days. Weather problems are common and getting off the boat to the island etc etc... Hope our ADXA members can get up early, look at the propagation charts on various bands and call in sick to your employer if necessary. HI 😊

I enjoyed being on RTTY back in those days many years ago, but with the "newer" modes involving so many ways to avoid SSB and CW crazy pileups I think many ADXA DXers will have a better chance of getting this BIG TIME new one!! GOOD LUCK, and avoid having to go to work or school or sleeping late or taking a short trip somewhere with your spouse!! 👌👍
