[ADXA] ARRL America250 Portable Schedule

Good morning, everybody.....

I wasn't going to address this until a little later but since it has been brought up, first I want to say a big thanks to Joel for the stellar job he did with W1AW/5 a couple of years ago during the Year of the Volunteer event.

There will be several operators from BVRC up here who will be activating W1AW/5 from their home domiciles during our turn in June and October.  We are also planning on having an activation on the Saturdays and Sundays during our weeks at the BVRC club station.

However, this will not provide near the number of operators we need to activate the call during those weeks.  I know quite a few ADXA members operated with W1AW/5 during the last operation of this type.

I already have a 'W1AW/5 Operator' spreadsheet created.  If you would like to be one of the home domicile operators for this event, send me a direct e-mail to k5db at outlook.com<mailto:k5db at outlook.com>, and I will be happy to put you on the list.  Please include in the e-mail which week - or both weeks - that you wish to operate

The dates for the W1AW/5 operation during the America250 event are:

  *   June 17 - 23
  *   October 21 - 27

When each operating period draws near, I will send an e-mail to you that will include the W1AW/5 operation guidelines along with a link to the Google sheet we will use to arrange each station's operating date, mode, band, time slot, etc.

I think all of us who operated with W1AW/5 last time had a blast, and this year will be just as fun and rewarding.

Looking forward to hearing from all who are interested.
