Jussi,
Where are you seeing delay? Is it in the audio delivery?
We pretty much run the same remote setup, K4D, QK4 software, PiVPN (when
outside our home LAN), and a decent internet connection. If you're using the
audio delivery that is built into the QK4 software, while the audio is
great, it has way too much latency. I've always used Mumble for audio
delivery and in fact, I had my own Mumble server set up (I don't like to
share!!!) but there are free Mumble servers you can connect to that are just
a fast. They are very low latency and when a signal pops up on the
panadapter the audio delivery is right with it.
If you want, drop me a note offline so we don't bore the gang with a further
remote discussion.

I tried my remote set up from my living room to the shack. Well, there are
definitely challenges working pile ups when there are delays and trying to
deal with the computer. It is like one is always a couple of seconds late!
But managed to work him in the end. I need the radio in front of me! All
this is just to avoid driving down to the shack whenever there is action.
