Subject: [ADXA] Obituary for Melissa Lynn Schaefer

Married 55 years, many happy memories and much love.  I’m not completely OK now, but I will be because of her and support from family and friends.

She was N5HX, but most proud of her Advanced class license before Extra.  She was president of the local club, as well as secretary, board member, etc.  She was active in storm spotting, Red Cross, ARES/RACES, VE testing, helping run the hamfest, and many other things.   She also taught in licensing classes.  Health problems kept her radio activities limited in recent years but she was still interested and happy to sit and crochet while I did a POTA activation.
