Ha! Randy, you're a hoot! Always an enjoyable read.
You don't need a new division. You are doing fine!
Nice looking certificate. Congrats. Keep it going!

The 2025 ARRL 160 meter CW contest will be forever remembered due to an unexpected tragedy on Friday evening. The following evening I did light off the station with a goal of 100 QSO's.
Not being a big gun on 160...or any other band you may want to pick, I chose to hunt and pounce. It took around 6 hourse to break 100. I possibly could have done a bit better, but I got hung up on trying to work some rare DX, K5UR, which I was never able to do. I think I was sending too slow for him to copy.
I do realize that 10k points is not many. I was hearing very little DX, and I was not able to work the few that I heard. I attribute this failure due to the fact that Jethrine is only capable of about 3 pints, maybe 4 if the wind is blowing the right direction.
I have 2 requests for Rick to work on. The first is to add a division. I think there may be a QRP division, but I won't use that because I don't know what QRP means. Then there is a low power division, and a high power division. What I need urgently is an "All you others" division. I think this is where I would fit in the best. I need this done ASAP before I get into the expensive part of this amp I am building, so I will be able to run a gallon and a half, plus 1 watt (for overhead in case continuous duty is required). As things were during the contest, I was just the little dog in the division with the vicious big dogs.
The second requst I have for Rick is to autograph my certificate and add the letters PSE QRS under my call sign.
We are fortunate in ADXA to have SME's for CW, 160 meters, and contesting. I did operate the 2024 contest and spent about the same amount of hours. I was busier than a 3 legged dog scratching fleas while trying to log manually, and do RX antenna swtiching manually. I ended up tired and with a tremendous headache. The 2025 contest was much better thanks to the suggestion by ZN and maybe a few others, to use N1MM software to do the logging. It resulted in several more QSO's and a whole lot less work.
Good DXing to all!Randy/W5ZJ
