[ADXA] VK6LW 160 cw

I was listening with the pennant when Joel worked him this morning. On the single pennant, I could hear just enough that I could tell someone was there. I was able to copy VK6LW sending CQ a couple of times, a few minutes after ZN worked him.  

Even though my attempt at receiving VK was not very good, I was “unphased” by my failure. 

I am proud to report that I am now broadside phased! The second pennant has been installed and tuned. The inside picture is just resistors on the ends of the phasing coax. The outside pics are with both pennant antennas connected. 

Hopefully this will help me on my way to being a “Barney Fife” Big Gun. As you know ole Barney didn’t have but one bullet, and so do I. One band, one antenna, one direction at a time.

Wish me luck in becoming a Barney Fife Big Gun. I’ll let you know if my one bullet was a blank.
