Thank you, Pat.
Actually, the bulk of my DXCC contacts in LoTW are from my base station,
which I've only had for a couple of years. I have a IC-7610 with a
simple vertical antenna. I didn't start using LoTW until I finally got
the station set up. We moved from southern California to here in 2016.
When I lived in California, with the exception of some portable
operations, all of my contacts were mobile, using a Little Tarheel II on
the hatch of a Toyota Matrix, using a IC-7000 and 100 watts. Some of my
contacts were PSK-31, which concerned some people at the other end,
thinking I was in motion!. Over the course of about 10 years, I
collected almost 90 paper QSLs toward DXCC. After moving here, my
Matrix was totaled, and I was off the air for quite a while, until I got
the military surplus truck. But, I never accumulated enough paper QSLs
to finally apply for DXCC. So, with LoTW, I more like started over. I
am using HRD, and according to Ham365, I have reached 150 entities, but
only 113 are confirmed.
