[ADXA] WB5JJJ - My Thanksgiving rant, sort of ......

Following up on others comments, I had ClubLog confirmation from 9U1RU for
all bands, but did not get the 10m LoTW confirmation from a few
minutes later than when Lanny worked them. Sent their QSL manager an email
this morning with a copy of the AllText log for the contact. Not a big
deal, but it would make their DXP a digital "Clean Sweep", even though I
had confirmations on 2 bands from 12 years ago on SSB.

It has been very productive the past month as I cleaned out a bunch of the
unconfirmed LoTW QSO's. I still have abou 25 to follow up on. May not get
4 from Iran as the operator and QSL manager are having a hissy fit over the
process of confirming to LoTW. That would be an ATNO for me if it ever
gets settled between them, or make contact with a new operator with better
QSL management.

Only need 34 more DXCC right now to work everything at least once on
any mode. Of course some of them may never be activated again. I have
double-DXCC (or more) on 80-10 except for 30m where I need just 1 for 30m
DXCC, 5 still outstanding, with one being Iran. 160m is so far away (80
needed) that I don't even consider it.

6m is just 20 confirmations away from DXCC, so there's still hope there.
Also need just 10 more Grid Squares for FFMA, a lot due to another pretty
dead 6m season and nobody roving where I need them. 2 stations I see on HF
all the time, live and operate from GS's I need, but are seldom on 6m --
bummer.

I'm currently sitting at 1882 Challenge Points as of this morning.

In my 52 years as an active ham, it's been a great ride so far, although a
few years were very scarce for BIC time due to work requirements and such.
Hoping for the future as a great time as I push on to my 75th year of
hamming.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Enjoy the time with your family and friends, I
know I will.
