I'm making a list of programs I would like to hear/see.
1. Overcoming noise on the low bands.
2. N1MM contesting software and tips on practicing and using.

Come on with that pennant RZ, mine is getting lonely up here!

I put the other call along with the exchange in F2 in run mode but didnt have it set up that way last night. I had to hit F5 F2 to respond, then F3 at the end. ESM would be even quicker but I occasionally do something to get out of sequence. I normally just use F2 (his call, my report) and F3 (TU W5RZ).

I follow a couple of guys on Facebook who are in Kevin’s class (N5DX) and they talk about practicing 2BSIQ and getting something like 80Q’s in 10 minutes. It’s hard to see exactly how this works in videos - I’d like to stand behind someone who was actually doing it. I tried SO2R a couple of times and its main value for me was running down multipliers and catching band openings.

Mowing guy is finished for the year so the NE guy wire vertical will probably be back in action soon. Then the Pennant so I can hear people

I’m giving it a shot. It definitely gave me a bit of that “early contest” nervousness.

I’m a slow learner, so I hit a couple of snags. First, I didn’t set up a new contest and it wouldn’t show me the “start Morserunner” button. Found out you have to be in CQ WW or WPX.

Next, when I’d hit F1 to respond to a caller, it would say 599 4 without sending the other guy’s call. I thought I’d turn on ESM (Enter Sends Message) and that did work. I guess it’s a requirement.

Dennis - I’m glad to hear you made it to an ARVARF meeting. That’s a step in the right direction.
