[ADXA] LOTW news for ADXA

ADXA folks hi,

My LoTW application was finished today!  Nearly every day when I think about, I will check DXLabs to see if it is done.  I checked on this late last night.  Today when I got home, I checked again and it was done, Hooray!  Whomever it was, I appreciate them for working OT.  If I was a betting man, I would bet it was Sharon Taratula.  She has a history of doing stuff like this on holidays and weekends.  We are lucky to have folks with that kind of dedication to our hobby and at the ARRL!

Anyway, it took just under 2 months to get my LoTW application finished.  They continue to get caught up.  They got a little behind again from the holidays and some employees being down from health issues.  Probably by Dayton they will be all caught up again.

I have a few cards I need checked for 6m, but Kathy and I committed to grandkid duty on the weekend of the Russellville Hamfest.  I think they changed weekends?  Anyway, sadly we can't make it down to Russellville Hamfest this year🙁.    I always look forward to seeing everyone again.   I hope you guys have fun at the ADXA meeting and Hamfest!  I have a good friend I like to see afterwards at Centerville Dragway.  Been working on him to get his license.  Fixed him up with an old Kenwood general coverage receiver last year.  Love to smell Racing gas and see the cars at the same time.

I may have to send the cards in to Roger or Earl so I can get caught up on 6m.  Dam ole cards, love LOTW, hi!
