I also have wondered about that array on terrestrial. 


I enjoyed the article very much, and have played the rope game, of getting a bit more elevation on the 2 meter yagi that I have used for eme. I have made an attempt at 6 meter eme with a single home brew 7 element LFA. This was about 3 years, or so ago, Working someone off the moon was on my bucket list, and I was able to accomplish that on 2 meters. However, a contact or 2 is never enough and the goal is always more.

That is indeed very interesting, Joel.    I’ve always wondered how an array like that would do for terrestrial DX compared to one or two yagis way up high.  I’ve noticed that a lot of DXPeditions do some 6M EME and Lance and others operate ONLY on 6.
