Steve,

When you see <...> instead of a call sign it means that station is using a non-standard call, for example SV1GA/A so for it do display you need to place that callsign in the DX Call box then it will appear.

Don't ask me why, cause I don't know, but that is why you are not seeing it displayed.

Why am I not seeing his call on FT8.  He has a very strong, audible signal here.  I call him and he responded with my call and < ... >.  I can't complete a Q.  I see this with many other stations too.  Can someone tell me what is happening here?  FT8 won't log it without his call.
