Managed V73WW on 30 and 40 this morning. I heard a little "scratching" from him on 160 cw  on 1832, but not good enough to copy.  I was delighted to hear a VK4 on 160, but by the time I got to the shack, he was gone.

 

As predicted, yesterday afternoon when I turned the pennant west, 160 immediately opened early into Europe. There were even people calling 5N9DTG. As we all say, a day late and  2 dollars short. (inflation). 

 

I had the engineers in the shack sometime back. I certainly hope they got all adjusted as it should be. 

 

I also had a guest operator in the shack. He was a southPAW, but was as good on CW as I was. 

 

I finally found the newsletter and enjoyed reading it, and seeing the shack pictures. 

 

My plan is to be at Russellville March 8.  I will make up a few pennant "kits"  containing a terminating resistor and wound transformer to give to whomever may be interested in constructing one. However, there will be no refunds, and past performance is not an indicator of future results.
