I’ve been catching up on a lot of things I missed during my “3 month sinus
infection” episode. Once the ragweed froze, I began to be able to breathe
normally and taste food again. I have been reading the mail and have noted
that ADXA members are accomplishing a lot. I can’t hope to mention all,
but my congratulations are going to this sample of members.

Debbie, KI5QQG, for being selected as ADXA DX Hog. No one is more
deserving!

Pat, W5VY for microwave scatter record-setting. That’s pretty far out on
the edge of what hams normally do, but no sweat for an ADXA’er.

Jon, KI5UCZ, for being loud in ZF on 160 with his T antenna. I believe
maybe Pat had, or has, one of those too. Jon, give us a summary of the
dimensions, counterpoise system, etc. I think a T could have several
advantages over an inverted-L. Also, Randy has been sharing much
anppreciated information about his receive antennas.

Stan, K5GO, for putting together a world class multi-multi setup at ZF5T.
This was amazing to me but it shouldn’t have been, since I’ve known Stan
forever. Also, congrats to the other ADXA’ers who were involved in this
effort.

K5UR and W5ZN for never sleeping and working ‘em all on CW!

Everyone else (even George) for “getting in there and working ‘em”!

You’re a world-class group of super hams, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

73,
Dennis/RZ
