Subject: [ADXA] Dauphin Island Alabama operation

We did a family vacation at a beach house this week at Dauphin Island and I
took a radio and did some very casual "holiday operating". I used a Yaesu
FT-991A and 17 foot telescoping whip antenna with 3 radials with maximum
power of 50 watts. No tuner. Just manually adjusted antenna for best SWR.
QSO's were all FT8/FT4 although I tried some CW. I didn't bring headphones
and was getting complaints about the "noise". There were some good CW
signals on 20. I ended up with 63 different entities. Lot of fun!
