Good job Joel! It feels even better when there are some obstacles along the way. My 6m set up is still pretty bad, so no eme for me yet.
On a similar bote, about an hour ago I noticed 9n7aa (new one for me) on reverse beacon. It is raining cats and dogs outside, really pouring down. My shack is about 800 ft from the house, so I jumped in my car and drove there. Fortunately it is straight north from here, so no need to turn antenna. It was still on 15m cqing. Then I discovered that my antenna's balun box had sucked in water and the swr on 15m was over 3. Tried calling with 100W but he could not hear me. Then decided to fire up my Acom and it finally tuned OK. He came back to me right away with the amp. Immediately after my QSO, he said QRT. So, quite a bit of luck. I am a wet happy camper now :-)
