[ADXA] 501(C)3 Status

ADXA Folks,

 

You will recall ADXA VP Pat has been working on a 501c3 tax exempt status
for ADXA. This all began over 18 months ago when PayPal was forced by new
gov't regulations mandating a federal tax ID be in place for all
organizations and individuals receiving monitory funds through a financial
institution, regardless of the amount. If we did not provide a number, the
federal gov't would force the financial institution to begin withholding the
transfer of a certain amount of money and sent it to the IRS for tax
withholdings.

 

We decided to not only apply for an ADXA tax ID number but also pursue tax
exempt status. We obtained a tax ID number for ADXA rather quickly (so we
didn't have to use an individual's SSN) but the tax exempt status required a
lot of time and a lot of work. Pat, with assistance from Dawn N5QS, worked
through the filing and Pat spent additional time communicating with our IRS
"case officer" to bring this to a close.

 

Attached is our official letter from the IRS of tax exempt 501c3 status for
ADXA.
