[ADXA] New Super Fox

Ken, it is pretty amazing. I keep waiting for 6M to wake up…..fingers crossed.

Dr. Scott McIntosh, deputy director of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), and his team are the only ones that got it close to right. They did extensive data mining to determine the factors that drive Solar activity. The model they created seems to correlate very well with past cycles and predicted a fairly robust Cycle 25. The standard approach has been to attempt to extrapolate the level of activity for the upcoming cycle based on historical data from previous cycles…..with little insight into causes. Still a lot of data collection and number crunching needed to gain a better understanding….but at least a few clues have been revealed.

Doesn’t seem to matter what direction I point the beam. On 10M, it’s all continents all the time from an hour or two after daylight until after dark. Yeah!

Ken – yes it is particularly significant given the fact all off the solar cycle “experts” predicted the worst propagation in modern times!!!

Truly great times for the new guys and us “old dogs” as well.

When is the last time we’ve had a solar flux index above 275? >From some quick research, it could have been back in Cycle 19 back in the late 50’s. We are experiencing some amazing solar activity right now. Lucky us !

I have worked them on two bands, conventional FT4. I am listening on 21.090 right now, nothing heard. Might be an HF black-out like this morning on 40 meters?

I see you connected with 3D2V on 21.090. No decode here yet. I just installed 2.7 last night and anxious to try it out.
