I didn't get on 30M until I extended the 20M wire on my DX-CC fan dipole four years ago. It's a great band because of decent propagation and that we're on a level playing field with the 100 watt power limit. I'm at 30M DXCC with 194.

30 m is a great band. Lots of activity and propagation is usually pretty good plus you can get out with a average antenna

I had a good time on 30m last night between 0 and 0230 hours UTC. Five contacts, three new ones for me. M0, PA, KL7, OZ, and OM.
I'm new to 30m but am working on DXCC, up to 24 now.

Trent
