I had a pretty good time in the CQ WW and hit it pretty hard after allowing
for 8 hours sleep per night, leisurely meals, and three or four football
games.
With my 100 watts and wires in the trees I managed 224 QSOs and 65
countries. Don't think I got any new ones though.
I worked four ZF5T-bands.
Funny about the offsets - that's a thing I do to try to get an edge
although I don't know if I'm kidding myself or not. I usually set XIT to
about +50 Hz. Based on the pitch of the last station the guy worked, I'll
adjust up or down, up to about +80 Hz at times, which has been effective. I
try to not go overboard as I don't want to get out of the other guy's
filter BW.
