And don't forget that AK and HI are basically just extensions of the USA,
but they are still a DXCC, just like many of our other overseas
territories.  US "owned" and "administered", but a world apart from the
Lower 48.

Yes, Greenland is a large land mass and Denmark is relatively small.  But I
prefer Denmark any day as it's my most visited DXCC location.  Seven hour
flight, but free room, board and transportation when I get there.  Can't
beat that setup.
