[ADXA] Meeting & Newsletter Reminder

Greetings ADXA Folks,

 

Glenn will have the 2nd Quarter Newsletter out later today or tomorrow and
our meeting is via Zoom on Saturday. I'll have the link for you tomorrow.

 

In the newsletter Rick, AI5P, has a nice and interesting article on a visit
to Slovenia. Given our recent reflector chatter about RUFZ and Morse code
speeds, it brought to mind that I want to believe I'm a pretty good CW op
and can cruise along at 30 WPM, faster if it is callsigns in contest mode.
The ones that ALWAYS throw me for a loop are Slovenian callsigns, especially
the S5 or even worse, S55 prefixes and those boys (and a few girls!!!) like
to whip 'em out at around 40 WPM. At that speed those callsigns put me in an
eternal "dit spiral" and takes me a bit to recover!
