I don’t remember who their merchant payment processor is but under any normal circumstances the actual seller doesn’t get the card number, only the tokenized transaction info they can use to settle/search/reverse the transaction if needed.

Getting/storing the card number makes them subject to a whole HOST of PCI compliance issues and audits.

 

It’s still safer than sending someone a check, which includes your transit/routing number and full account number.

There is NO WAY IN HADES i'm sending ARRL my credit card info any time soon.

--- Put me on probation, kick me out... Whatever, I am not ready to trust ARRL with my Credit card just now...
