Dennis, I was There watching, at the "County Line "CW Shoot out at High
Noon"" (CAREN club hamfest) when you and WA5BDU both successfully copied
SIXTY WPM.
As my memory serves me. The guy conducting the contest said: "I'm out of
cassette tapes. That was the fastest one I had". You & Nick Kennedy shook
hands and that was the end of it.
The NEXT year They put you in charge of Administering the contest, mostly
so you would not be eligible to complete.
