I worked Nick, VK9DX, just now on 28.465. He was booming and I didn’t even
turn on the amp. He said I had a big signal and wanted to know about my
antenna. Nice guy to be so encouraging! We had a short ragchew after I
said he was carrying on the tradition of Jim Smith, VK9NS. Nick had worked
Jim many years ago. Jim went SK some years ago, but Nick said Jim’s wife,
Kirsty still lives on Norfolk. Kirsty was active as VK9NL back in the day.

A good ham radio day - also worked K8R on 10 and 12M CW. Nothing new, but
sometimes good DX is just good DX whether it adds to the total or not.

73,
Dennis/RZ
