I'm Back home in Arkansas getting ready for Independence Day celebrations and the IARU HF World Championship contest July 13.

I didn't give much detail about the amp, just a little "teaser". Since I received a couple of emails asking if I would be selling my PGXL the answer is no because I am NOT purchasing an XXL !!! Just couldn't resist the clandestine note in the original email.

The PGXXL contains two 1500-watt amplifier modules. As most of you know, the PGXL has input and output for two separate radios, and you can run two separate radios with it, you just cannot transmit on both at the exact same time because the XL only has one amp module. The PGXXL will allow you to continuously transmit on two radios at the same time since it has two completely separate amplifier modules.

And, to address Stan's 3 KW question YES! Ranko says if you are running only one radio you can set the configuration to run both amplifier modules in parallel to achieve up to 3.5 KW output (legal in some countries but NOT in the USA).
