Thanks everybody for the support. Let me beat my own drum for a bit here,
hopefully to incite others to press forward on their quests.

Dennis is so right in that when your numbers go higher, the available
entities are reduced. Go figure on that one. I know I'll go over the 300
DXCC in the coming weeks as recent DXPeditions return and start uploading
to LoTW. However, so many of the new DXP's are going to places I've
already received confirmation from, even back in my Technician YEARS on 10m
where I got them on SSB/RTTY/CW. It was such fun for the new guy, 50 years
ago, to join in the pileups with a 4 element beam strapped to the side of
my apartment and my IC-745 on the kitchen table.

I keep inching closer to DXCC on 80m as I only need 4 more, but not too
much hope on 160m for me with 84 left to find, although I did get AK and HI
on the same day last year, so there still is hope. 6m is very slowly
moving up as I only have 27 to go there. At my current rate, 6m should be
completed in about 10 years, unless the RF gods are compassionate towards
this OM.

I know this is not "real" DX to many, but it is on 6m. So I'm still
chasing the last 20 Grid Squares in the Lower 48, for the FFMA. I hope to
cut that number in half this Spring as 6m perks up. Of all the rovers that
have been on the forums so far, none are going to a GS that I need
confirmation from. I hope this changes. I'm always surprised as to what I
find on 6m, even if for just a few minutes during an opening. I got NZ and
VK during such an event last Spring. And during that same opening, I had
over 400 NA stations copying me at one time. And it seemed that all of
them needed either Arkansas or my GS. Busy, but fun day. And then it was
GONE.....

Never give up. Just get in there and work 'em.

See everybody on Saturday at the RVHamfest.
