[ADXA] VU4A, 7.057 FT8, Just Worked

RF is RF - it requires a good antenna and some skill to work rare ones on
any mode. I worked VU4M on 30M FT8 the other night and it was a thrill to
see my call pop up in red showing that I had a connection. I just saw the
same thing when I worked 9L5M on 80M FT8. It just took two calls - the 80M
vertical/sloper is playing well. John, WB5BHS, is in there calling - hope
he has some good luck, too. Vertical is the way to go on 80.

We can't decode FT8 by ear, but we can't do that with RTTY or PSK, either.
Heck, I suspect a lot of DX'ers use an aid to copy CW, or are only able to
recognize their own callsign. It's all DX. It all counts. What's the
hardest mode for me to copy? Definitely SSB.

I still need VU4M on 40 - will take him any way I can get him! I'm at 1612
and slowly creeping up.

Dennis/RZ
