[ADXA] WA5BDU QST Article

I hope you are equally shocked and dismayed that I don’t read QST either! I simply thumb through it in less than 5 minutes each month because it comes with an ARRL membership.

There is absolutely nothing in it of interest to me whatsoever, but that’s not the reason I’m an ARRL member and supporter. The benefit provided by ARRL in defense and promotion of amateur radio at the national and international level far outweigh anything that appears in a magazine. That benefit provides you, whether a member or not, the benefit of walking into your shack whenever you want, activate your station that you assembled, and get on the air. Without that support you wouldn’t be able to do that. Don’t believe me? Give me about two hours and I’ll explain a lot of factual history and current work to you!!

My reading interest is focused on technical material related to topics of interest to me so I restrict my time to that.

I want to personally thank Bill and Nick for taking the time to write, and submit, articles for publication (and Rick, AI5P’s monthly submissions to our newsletter). What can we expect from the rest of the ADXA nation?? Let’s step up folks. Write something and do one of three things, or all three:

1.	Submit it to a magazine publication
2.	Submit it to Glenn for the ADXA newsletter
3.	Distribute it here via the ADXA reflector

Or, even better, present it at an upcoming ADXA meeting. November would be a good start!
