[ADXA] Its Me Again, Margaret!

Greetings ADXA Folks,

 

Ray Stevens is a very funny entertainer. His songs are simply down right
hilarious but he also has a couple of grammy winning "serious" songs. In the
spirit of Ray Stevens, I was a bit comical with the subject line of this
message taken from one of his tunes but let me also be a bit serious about
our upcoming conference. Our registration numbers are only a tad more than
half of what we have had for past annual conferences. I'm very pleased to
see those who have registered and we're going to have an outstanding event
and a great time but I also have to be a bit blunt and say it is a bit of an
embarrassment to arrange for a world class DX'er to be our special guest and
not have any more than this with interest in attending!

 

If you plan to attend, PLEASE register.  

 

There are 35 ADXA members on this reflector who have not registered and have
not responded to our pleas to let us know why. If there are conflicts, we
understand but we also need to understand what is causing the very low
turnout. Are you no longer interested in DX? Do you not have an interest in
DX but joined just to "hang with the BIG DOGS"? What can we do to help you
regain the DX excitement to "GET IN THERE AND WORK 'EM" or to reignite the
interest that caused you to join ADXA? Thank you to those who have let us
know why you are unable to attend.

 

Our cutoff date if fast approaching and we really need your help in either
registering or letting us know why you can't make it. This information will
be very beneficial in planning and scheduling future meetings and
conferences.

 

Thank you very much to those who have registered and plan to attend. I very
much look forward to seeing you at a great DX event!!!!!
