So there were twenty-six different operators for the W1AW/5 operation in 2005. Any call sign on the certificate can download their own copy if interested.

Oh Yea. Sorry. The Gold coins were just a last minute thought to my original post.
Both were FANTASTIC events that I totally enjoyed, even if they were 9 years apart.
Sometimes I get this stuff mixed up.

That certificate was from when W1AW/5 participated in the IARU contest in 2005 as an HQ station. I believe station locations were K5GO (all bands CW), K5EJ, K5UZ, and others. We had 10M SSB from K5BAT and did some filling in late at night on 40 SSB. 10m was not very good and little DX was workable in July. We hoped for a monster Sporadic E opening but it never happened. We worked a lot on backscatter and tropo scatter. Thank goodness for QRO. It was brute force or nothing.
40 meter SSB was OK but there weren’t enough stations to work.
We did the Centennial thing for W1AW/5 at K5BAT in 2014. I think we worked over 7000 Q’s for the Centennial. I remember tremendous pileups on 17M SSB and 30M CW was a zoo. Same for 30M RTTY. Fun times!

I find the coolest stuff when I'm looking for something else.
I stumbled across this Cert. from 2005 this morning. Signed by ZN.
A bunch of Big Guns listed on there.
I knew the whole time I was walking in tall cotton and playing radio with the Big Boys.
W5RZ made the appointments and arranged the time slots for the K5BAT group. All I had to do was sit at the radio and try to handle the pile ups.
AND, I have a couple of the ARRL gold coins that David & Joel handed out.
It is an experience I will never forget.
I'm N5QJ, and I approve this message.
