There was also a large contest last weekend that caused a lot of uploads 
and slowed things down as well.

All that aside, we've become a slave to "I want it NOW" and our 
expectations are that our uploads with be immediate. Sometimes we just 
have to take a breath, have a cup of coffee (or your preferred 
beverage), get in line, and let things run their course. It is still 
light years ahead of "how it used to be".
