[ADXA] ADXA 1st Quarterly Meeting

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday and especially to Dennis 
W9DCT, Don K5DB, and John WB5BHS for presenting our program. We had a 
standing room only crowd.

The crowd noise from the main floor that propagated in to the meeting 
"stage" was unfortunate and made things extremely difficult and 
stressful for everyone. This is a new location for the hamfest so they 
had no experience with this arrangement. It had an impact on all forums 
and meetings, not just ours. I'm sure the hamfest group will find a 
better solution for the forums/meetings next year.

I know some of you had meeting date conflicts. EJ and Earl had last 
minute issues that arose and they were unable to attend.

There weren't any new items discussed during our business meeting, just 
an update on various things. Thanks to Dave K5UZ for the use of his 
computer, to J, N5LKE who served as our "A/V guy", and Roger N5QS for 
QSL card checking.

I want to encourage each of you to consider a short program for a future 
meeting. Presenting something on what you are doing, a new antenna or 
equipment project are important to hear about that relate to DX your 
ability to work a new one.
