[ADXA] strange pileup

I got 3B7M on 10 CW, one or two calls.  I was busy with hamfest preps and noticed they were on 20 CW.  The pileup extended way up the band.  I heard him work ZN and was trying to find his listening pattern, going higher and higher.  He was booming in and the pileup was fierce and at least 20 khz wide.  Then he said QRX - going to FT8 on 090.   I guess he was sticking to the schedule.  I have nothing against FT8 but this whole thing was a little strange.
