Thanks San.
I was using DXSummit to check the paths. It was telling me very little to no prop SP and good prop LP. Listened on both multiple times and then worked him SP.
Glad to get ATNOs regardless of the path!
Best Regards,John

John, two nice back-to-back catches today for you! Congrats. The DX Summit propagation link for any DXCC entity you pull up will show you short and long path comparisons, pretty accurate.
If it shows some possible short opening on one path and better on the other path, THEN listen to both LP and SP. It will save you time usually. I usually only monitor DX Summit . . .

Subject: [ADXA] 2 ATNOs Today - 9N7AA & VU7W
After a bit of a dry spell, I worked 2 ATNOs this morning.
9N7AA - been chasing him for several months. Got him this AM on the 1st call on 15M FT4 (of all modes)!
Also worked VU7W in Lakshadweep Islands on 15M FT8. It was a bit puzzling whether short path or long path was the best way, but finally got him on the short path. VOACAP was indicating LP. Ears finally indicated SP!
He is still in there 21.091 Multi stream.
Good Luck,
John
