[ADXA] Please Stop Using PayPal

Greetings ADXA Folks,

I'm sure over the past several months you have heard about the IRS now 
mandating groups like PayPal to report any transaction totaling $600 or 
more to the IRS. In order for PayPal to comply with this requirement, 
they are now requiring each user to provide their tax ID number. For an 
individual that would be your SSN and a normal business tax ID for a 
company or organization. ADXA has never had a tax ID number and has 
never been required to have one. Given the size of ADXA and what we do, 
I do not believe one is required however with our use of PayPal for 
on-line membership renewals PayPal has forced us into a corner. When 
this first came up I told Glenn not to worry about it however what 
PayPal has now advised is if we do not provide a tax ID number, once the 
amount of money they send to us exceeds $600 they will automatically 
withhold 24%......YES 24%, and send it to the IRS!

So for now, please do not renew your membership using PayPal on our 
on-line service while we sort this out. The on-line system is extremely 
convenient but I want to ask you to send a check to Glenn to renew if 
you haven't already.

We'll sort this out, but for now just please don't renew via the on-line 
service. I'll try to put that on hold on the website today.
